JOB TITLE: Lead Medical Technologist
JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform clinical testing in at least two of the following areas: blood bank, microbiology, serology, chemistry, hematology, or urinalysis. Obtain and receive specimens. Prepare samples for analysis. Evaluate suitability of specimen for analysis according to laboratory
policy. Evaluate and report laboratory results. Maintain clinical laboratory instrumentation/equipment. Conduct quality control procedures. Maintain stock levels, conduct laboratory instrumentation performance checks and calibrations, train other staff and perform competency assessments. Multiple positions available.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science, and New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or eligibility.
RATE OF PAY: $42.17/hour - $49.06/hour
