Receptionist/Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Receptionist works to create a positive experience for all Human Resources customers.  Their main focus is to welcome customers in a friendly and professional way.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls. 
  • Receiving and sorting daily mail.
  • Addressing and escalating customer complaints.
  • Providing information about facilities, programs and other services.
  • Access and respond to HR Help Desk emails.
  • Filing.
  • New employee/non-employee Identification Badges.
  • Creating KRONOS profiles for travelers’ staff, contracted staff and Providers with privileges.
  • Administrative support to other areas of HR per HRIS Manager’s approval.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION

High school diploma plus one year of office/clerical support experience.

SKILLS

  • Previous Human Resources experience or related field - Preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) - Required
  • Lawson - Preferred
  • KRONOS - Preferred
