Associate HR Business Partner - Full Time - Days

Job Summary

The Associate HR Business Partner provides comprehensive HR support across multiple functional areas including organizational development, benefits administration, talent acquisition, HRIS, and employee relations. This role serves as a key backup to the HR Assistant and plays an important role in delivering a positive employee experience through responsive service, accurate processing, and effective HR operations.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain a constructive and timely performance evaluation program and accountable for delivering to management.
  • Process tuition reimbursement and certification bonus requests in accordance with policy.
  • Lead and update curriculum for new employee orientation.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant digital HR files.
  • Ensure HR handbook is kept up to date.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the organization’s learning and development system, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Round on employees, evaluate morale and company culture and make engagement recommendations.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend corrective action.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources.
  • Support benefits administration, including employee inquiries and enrollment activities.
  • Support talent acquisition, benefits, HRIS and employee relation activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

  • Associates Degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficient with technology, HRIS systems and MS Office tools.

PREFERRED:

  • Experience providing HR support in a union environment.
