Job Summary

Under general supervision of the Chef and Assistant Manager prepares all food items for the Medical Center to include patients, employees, visitors and outside catering events

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Practice proper food handling techniques
  • Follow HACCP
  • Maximize utilization of food and minimize waste
  • Rotate foods – proper storage of raw foods
  • Keeps proper records for roasted and cooked foods
  • Maintains proper holding temperatures
  • Cleanse and sanitize work area
  • Demonstrates compliance and safe use of all equipment
  • Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

Required: 
High school diploma or equivalent
