Job Summary
Produces high quality CT Scan studies in accordance with NYS DOH (New York State Department of Health) and ACR (American College of Radiology) standards.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Operating CT Scanner to perform high quality exams and procedures. Follows established guidelines in accordance with NYS DOH (New York State Department of Health) and ACR (American College of Radiology) standards.
- Transports, transfers, and positions properly for exams.
- Review and complete exams in PACS.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of basic computer skills and patient care technologies, information systems and communication devices that support safe clinical practices.
- Obtain thorough health history and complete all documentation as required.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly QA for CT Scan Equipment.
Education Requirements
Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Preferred: 3 years full time or equivalent CT experience
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required: NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT registry
Preferred: ARRT Registry with CT and injection credentials
