Carpenter - Facilities Management - Full Time (1.0) - Day Shift
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Group Leader and/or direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor the Carpenter will provide all aspects of service in the carpentry trade with general electrical and mechanical knowledge.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Familiar with the safe use of all hand wood working tools
- Understanding of OSHA, Local State and DOH codes and regulations as related to a hospital setting
- Ability to understand and complete preventative maintenance programs
- Experienced in hanging and taping sheet rock.
- Working knowledge of how to safely use a bucket loader and plow truck.
- General electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Capability of installing suspended ceiling systems
- Familiar with reading blue prints and construction documents
- Perform other duties as required
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, trade school
- 2-3 years related experience
