Executive Director HR Operations - Full Time - Days

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the VP/Chief Human Resources Officer the Executive Director, HR Operations is responsible for oversite and successful implementation and delivery of HR Operations functions including Compensation, Benefits, Organizational Development, HRIS, Talent Acquisition and Physician Recruitment. This position provides strategic leadership and innovative solutions to maximize HR Operations, software implementations, resource utilization and service delivery. A successful candidate will have led the implementation of HR shared services delivery model, and led the development of operational improvement / process redesign in support of a technology enabled HR transformation strategy.

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Manages HR operations function, including the design, development, implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures, to support the Human Resources department and organization
  • Document, review, recommend and manage changes, development and improvement of HR policies and procedures
  • Supports VP, HR to implement and administer total compensation reward plans, annual incentive and long-term incentive programs to attract, retain, and motivate talent
  • Lead plan design and administration of Employee Compensation, including variable and equity programs. 
  • Evaluate and participate in the analysis and development of compensation programs, including base, variable and equity while driving change on an organization-wide scale.
  • Manage all periodic processes associated with compensation programs, including roll-out strategies, communication, planning and leading compensation review cycles, policy, and implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure core HR processes are effectively designed, documented and implemented for sustained and efficient execution; design and implement innovative solutions where applicable
  • Supervise and lead HR team members in the project management execution and ongoing administrative support of HR operational projects and initiatives.
  • In collaboration with HR leadership and stakeholders, ensure HR technology strategy and roadmap is aligned with the overall business plans. Determine future needs as the business evolves.
  • Develop and maintain HR metrics and dashboards for Leadership and HR to monitor human capital performance.
  • Utilize a data driven approach to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions for employee performance, retention, engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of succession planning and the talent review process to identify top talent, expose talent gaps and build management capabilities.
  • Ensure human resources technology end users (e.g., human resources business partners, admins, recruiters and managers) are appropriately trained and updated on the technology.
  • Ensure the execution of appropriate data governance for human resources systems/ platforms and associated human resources and financial data.
  • Make certain human resources-related information being fed into the various enterprise financial/information technology systems is accurate and in compliance with management guidelines and applicable regulatory agencies.
  • Provides oversite of the Physician Recruitment function as well as the Leave Management function within the Human Resources department providing support and guidance to the HR leaders directly responsible for these areas.
     

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Business / Healthcare Administration or related 
  • Minimum 8 years progressive experience in Human Resources, HR Operational Management, Total Rewards
  • 3+ years of leadership experience / management of a team

Preferred: 

  • Master’s Degree required in Business / Healthcare Administration or related

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Preferred: 

  • SPHR  SHRM-SCP certification
