Grant Writer - Full Time - Days
Job Summary
MVHS is looking for a full-time Grant Writer to work with Population Health to help with grant applications, funding programs, proposals, and finding other opportunities in our health system. This is a full-time remote position where you will be working with and under the general direction of the Population Health Director, or designee. The Grant Writer is responsible for coordinating, writing and managing grant applications, and the Grant Writer will serve as a liaison to content experts, external vendors and community partners involved in grant proposals, project implementation and grant management. Core Job Responsibilities
- Research opportunities and devise approaches for dedicated funding for MVHS programs from Federal, State and local government, public, and private foundations
- Write grant proposals and/or serve as lead to facilitate grant application response
- Facilitate grant proposals and project implementation with content experts
- Lead content experts, grant leads, external vendors and community partners in preparing and submitting proposals within required timeframes
- Determine post award requirements and ensure completion of required documentation and overall grant compliance in collaboration with content experts
- Lead the MVHS grant operations committee and ensure the implementation of committee work plans
- Ensure portal access and compliance requirements for state and federal grant submission
- Perform other duties as required.

Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, a related degree, or equivalent experience
5 years of experience in grant research, writing, and application processes
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration
Experience in health care setting, specializing in healthcare grant research, writing, and application processes
