Gastroenterology APP Full Time (Inpatient & Outpatient Mix)

Job Summary

Digestive Disease Medicine of Central New York (DDM) is a high-quality, individualized gastroenterology practice that has been serving patients in Central New York for over 35 years. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative group focused on providing comprehensive digestive health care. The APP will work closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
• Shared weekend call
• Collaborative model with supportive physicians and team
• Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding with physician
• GI specific training available

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:    

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.
• Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas. 
• Familiar with EHR/EMR software.   

Licensure/Certification Requirements

REQUIRED:    

• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.
• Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

PREFERRED:

• Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
