Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Linen Services Supervisor, the Linen Services Associate are to keep resident/patient linens clean and washed in a manner, which will preserve color and fabric, and avoid contamination and spreading of bacteria. They will also keep linens and clothing washed, dried, ironed, folded and stored in designate areas on a daily basis, as well as to keep laundry area and equipment clean.
Core Job Responsibilities

Perform various duties in laundry including folding, spreading sheets, feeding sheets, filling linen carts, delivers linen to floors

Will keep equipment and laundry area clean

Will follow all clean linen procedures including drying, ironing, folding and storing all laundry in linen closets and designated areas by designated persons

Will support Environmental Services as delegated

Perform other duties as required.
Education/Experience Requirements
REQUIRED:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED:
Some experience in healthcare.
