Pay Range $16.00 - $22.00 Hourly

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists the nursing staff in the provision of basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, i.e., personal hygiene, activities of daily living and mobility. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) will assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) may be required to transport medications as defined and authorized by Pharmacy Services.

Education/Experience Requirements

PREFERRED:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent 

Licensure/Certification Requirements

REQUIRED:

• Basic life support certification (to be completed by end of probationary period)
• Behavior Management Training (to be completed by end of probationary period)
