Pay Range $16.00 -$22.00 Hourly

Job Summary

Following the principles similar to “lean” manufacturing, the Specimen Processor performs computer registration, test ordering, sample labeling and processing of patients and/or samples received in the laboratory. The Specimen Processor monitors computer call lists, completing required calls in a timely manner. The Specimen Processor will ensure all specimens are sent/received in appropriate lab departments and according to laboratory protocols. The Specimen Processor Works under the direct supervision of the director, manager, supervisor or charge technologist as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

PREFERRED:

• One (1) Year Related Experience
