Sr. Business Operations and Analytics Professional - Full Time - Days
Job Summary
The Senior Business Operations and Analytics Professional is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving existing business operations. The Senior Business Operations and Analytics Professional will manage the daily operations of the clinical and support staff, as well as ensuring that the business is running efficiently and effectively.
Core Job Responsibilities
- Define and implement analytics strategies and roadmaps that align with the overall business objectives
- Develop and maintain a data infrastructure that supports the need of the organization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and track key performance indicators
- Participate in the hiring, mentoring and coaching of the project management team to optimize project performance
- Communicate complex data insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable way
- Act as a thought leader for the organization on all matter related to data and analytics
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and policies
- Develop and implement project management processes, guidelines and templates to ensure consistent and efficient project delivery
- Lead the project team, assign tasks and responsibilities, and manage resource allocation to ensure project goals are met
- Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues and risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track
- Prepare and present project status to upper management, including progress updates, budget and resource utilization, and any potential issues or risks
- Establish and maintain relationship with stakeholders, including internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals and objectives
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Perform other duties as required
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of equivalent or related experience
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills are necessary in dealing with a variety of healthcare and finance professionals
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze, organize and present data.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- 10 years of equivalent or related experience
- Experience in healthcare industry
- Advanced Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence tools
- Knowledge of hospital decision support and EMR systems, EPSi and Epic
