RN - Labor Productivity Manager


The primary goal of this position is to ensure stability and consistency with regards to staffing, resulting in increased safety of our patients while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.

The Labor Productivity Manager ensures that labor and productivity management systems and processes in place are effective and forward thinking and in line with the concepts of a high reliability organization

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Monitor staffing and labor utilization performance of hospitals and report to leadership. Provide leadership and oversight for operational effectiveness of labor management and hold unit teams accountable. Work with facility leadership teams to set and achieve labor management goals. Provide education, tools and support to departmental management for staffing and productivity management. Work collaboratively with department leaders to ensure targets for overtime, productivity and nonproductive worked time are met by flexing appropriately.  Maintain competency in quantitative analytics to help drive operational decisions. Provide ongoing and consistent accountability and assist in development of facility full-time employee (FTE) budgets.


Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience, three or more of which is in a management role, in acute care environment, including operations experience.

For Profit experience preferred.
