JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of Laboratory Administration. Collects laboratory specimens from patients using venipuncture techniques. Gives patients collection instructions. Receives patients, correctly identifies patients, transports specimens, performs clerical functions, and assists technical personnel with assigned non-technical tasks.
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Current and Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing - position specific requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Phlebotomy course / Phlebotomy work experience
